Electrical Characteristics & Description
The A-7 power supply is designed especially providing the high voltage to be used in an electrostatic air filter system. Providing 7kV of high voltage at limited current is ideal for dynamic air cleaners that utilize high voltage collection filter plates to accumulate microscopic debris and dust. The A-7 is specially designed to gently fold-back when excessive currents are being drawn due to high loads on its output. The A-7 operates from a 24 volt AC supply, and is fully encapsulated in a metal case for safety. A three prong AC adapter (with ground pin) may be purchased to operate the system.
